If you are interested in early Michigan history this set of three books would be a fine addition to your library. There are three books covering the geology, early settlement, civil government, and military history of Northern Michigan. There are also chapters on each county in the region, as well as biographies of the movers and shakers of the time, comprising a total of 1355 pages. This illustrated set was written by Perry R. Powers and published in 1912 by the Lewis Publishing Company of Chicago. They are in very good condition for their age. The leather bindings have some wear on the spines, but the gold printing is intact. If you would like more pictures of these volumes, let me know.
